It's Time to Think about Kindergarten 2010-2011
Community Consolidated School District 93 will hold kindergarten registration for the 2010-2011 school year on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. Registration will take place at Carol Stream, Cloverdale, Heritage Lakes, Roy DeShane, and Western Trails Schools in Carol Stream as well as Elsie Johnson School in Hanover Park. To enter kindergarten in the fall of 2010, children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2010. Parents must bring an official county birth certificate with the raised or multi-color seal to substantiate their child’s age. All students enrolling in school must be full-time legal residents in Community Consolidated School District 93. Proof of residency is required of parents and legal guardians prior to enrollment. Proof of residency may be verified with a driver’s license or state I.D. bearing the in-district address as well as a utility bill, signed lease, or mortgage statement with your address. Parents are asked to bring their family calendar to registration in order to schedule a kindergarten screening date. This is a parents-only evening. There will be an opportunity for the incoming kindergartners to visit a kindergarten room at a later date. For more information please contact your neighborhood school or the District Office at (630) 893-9393. |
