Asbestos Management
Community Consolidated School District 93 is committed to the prudent management of all asbestos containing building materials, with the long term goal of asbestos free facilities.
Our management plan has been prepared by Pekron Consulting, an Environmental Health & Safety Company, which is an accredited and licensed management planner, in accordance with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) and accepted by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Records are maintained and updated as needed. Re-inspections are conducted once every three years and a periodic surveillance once every six months usually in June and December.
