CCSD93 Meal Program: Breakfast & Lunch Options for the School Year
CCSD93 is pleased to offer a daily paid meal program for the school year, providing nutritious breakfast and lunch options for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
School Meal Options
Students are encouraged to enjoy lunch at school, whether by bringing a meal from home or purchasing one through our meal program. Our district partners with OrganicLife, LLC. to provide high-quality meals, including:
- Lunch: A value-priced complete meal, including a protein entrée, fruits and/or vegetables, grains, an occasional treat, and milk. Additional beverages and snacks are also available for purchase.
- Breakfast: Available at all elementary and middle schools 15-20 minutes before the school day begins, featuring grains, fruit or juice, and milk.
Middle school students (grades 6-8) have access to additional menu items, daily specials, and à la carte options.
Pricing & Payments
Meal pricing can be found in the Food Pricing section of this webpage. Parents are encouraged to preload funds into their child's meal account using MySchoolBucks, accessible through CCSD93’s website and mobile app. Additional payment options include:
- Middle school students (grades 6-8): Cash payments at the service line during breakfast or lunch.
- Elementary students (grades K-5): Cash or check payments in a labeled envelope (“Breakfast” or “Hot Lunch”) with the student’s name, teacher’s name, and grade.
If a student orders a meal but has a negative balance, a cheese sandwich may be provided.
Free & Reduced-Price Meals Application
Families that meet federal income guidelines may be eligible for free or reduced-price meals. More information on applying for these benefits will be available here in July.
We’re excited to serve our students and support their nutritional needs this school year.
