CCSD93 News & Announcements
All students remain completely safe. This message is being sent to keep you informed regarding a situation involving a stranger’s inappropriate interaction with a student on the way home from Jay Stream Middle School yesterday, October 16. It is not intended to incite panic.
We’re pleased to share that families can once again view student grades in the TeacherEase mobile app. The issue we communicated about last week has been resolved.
If you have young children, please mark your calendar for Sunday, October 19 from 10:00 a.m. to noon for a FREE fun-filled morning outdoors at the Let’s Play Fall Fest outside of Heritage Lakes Elementary School, 925 Woodhill Drive in Carol Stream!

CCSD93 Parents of preschool, kindergarten, 6th grade and all new students (any grade), this is a reminder that you must submit specific health forms for your child for the 2025-26 school year.
A big component of this is mental health. We know it can be difficult to know where to start when looking for mental health resources. This is why CCSD93 is thrilled to partner with an organization called Referral GPS that makes it easier for families, staff and community members to find the right help for them.
Fees for the 2025-26 school year have been applied to your TeacherEase account. This may include fees from previous years and/or additional registration purchases. Please follow the directions below to complete payment by August 12.
Key dates for the new school year include student orientation and busing info on August 13, Meet the Teacher events on August 19, and the first day of school for Grades 1-8 on August 20. Kindergarten has a shortened first day, and preschool starts on August 25 following a Meet the Teacher event on August 22. Details vary by grade level and student last name.
