Last night, both boys’ basketball teams earned well- deserved wins against the Hubble Huskies in front of an electric home crowd.

The seventh-grade team showed grit, determination, and teamwork to come back from behind and win their game 38 to 37. Ryan Bledsoe-Taylor led the way with 22 points including two clutch free throws to seal the victory. Hussein Anani had 9 points off of three 3 pointers. Larry Wilder and Carson Miller rounded out the scoring.

The 8th-grade team earned its first victory of the year 38- 28 over the Huskies. Irfan Khan led the way with a team- high 11 points. Antonio Thomas was next in line with 9 points on three 3 pointers. Jarod Dudlicek chipped in with 7 points. Ryan Murcia played strong defense and hustle and contributed 6 points. Hadi Haidari and Jeremiah Gwin rounded out the scoring.

Both teams are back in action tomorrow at Franklin. Go Jayhawks!
