Dear Heritage Lakes Parents,
 
Parents, please remember that this week is a very different schedule from any other week this school year as teachers, students and parents prepare for and participate in Student-Led Conferences. Each day from Monday, October 18 through Thursday, October 21, students will attend school following their typical shortened “Monday schedule.” This means:
  • Elementary school students will attend Monday-Thursday, 8:45 a.m.-2:15 p.m. daily.
 
Friday, October 22 will be a day off from school.
 

Morning drop off 

The front loop is reserved for buses to drop off students in the morning. If you are driving your child to school you may park and walk your child to the front entrance (please use the crosswalks and accompany your child to the front entrance). If you want to drop your child off you can pull through the middle lane of the parking lot and bus supervisors will direct you where to go. Please make sure you do not go around cars or buses as students are exiting buses and car's in the morning and our first priority is the students safety. Supervisors are outside to assist with directing cars and ensuring students get into school safely. They may direct you to pull up in an effort to keep things moving. When leaving the parking lot in the morning you will have to turn right.

Student Led Conferences

 

This year, CCSD93’s parent/teacher conferences will continue to take the form of Student-Led Conferences, as students will once again participate with their parents and teachers to celebrate successes and identify areas for growth. 
 
If you haven't yet, please follow these instructions to register:
  • Conferences will be held October 20 and 21.
  • The week of conferences, students will attend class during the typical “Monday schedule” each day from Monday, October 18 through Thursday, October 21, and there will be no school Friday, October 22. 
  • Parents are once again asked to use PTC Wizard, an online scheduling tool, to set up conferences any time between now and Monday, October 18 at noon. To register and schedule conferences, visit www.ccsd93.com/conferences. 
  • After completing registration through PTC Wizard, parents will have the option to complete a follow up form to indicate that they would like to attend conference(s) virtually via Zoom. A link to the follow up Zoom request form will be included in the PTC Wizard confirmation email. Then, the week of conferences, parents who have completed the virtual conference form will receive the Zoom link to join during their scheduled conference time.
