Dare Graduation

Heritage Lakes will be celebrating our 5th graders’ commitment to remaining drug and alcohol-free at their D.A.R.E. Graduation on Thursday, December 2. This year, the ceremony will take place during 5th grade lunchtime at school and will not be open to visitors. Instead, we will offer a YouTube Premiere video debut (to fifth grade parents) of the event later in the evening at 7:00 p.m. Please watch for the link to this premiere video as it will be shared with 5th grade parents on 11/22/21.

Heritage Lakes Committed to Helping Students

Please know that Heritage Lakes School is committed to ensuring that 100% of the students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.  As a school, our theme has been putting the “I” back in Kind.  The Tier I PBIS team has developed activities to encourage Kindness such as: Hearing from the Author who wrote "Kindness is a Kite String" and then building and flying their kites to encourage thinking about kindness.  The bulletin board at Heritage Lakes is becoming very full with those that have returned their kindness Bingo boards.  Students from the fifth grade expect respect club taught all of the HLS students what to do when someone is not being kind to them. They focused on the strategy of Stop, Walk and Talk. Ask your kids about Stop, Walk and Talk when you get an opportunity. All students deserve our best and we appreciate your support in helping to ensure that they receive it.
