The 8^th grade girls’ volleyball team had a fun and exciting night of competition at the Stallion Stampede tournament on Friday night at Stratford.  The Jayhawks beat conference rivals Stratford and Leman and lost a close match in 3 games to Benjamin.  Jay Stream, Benjamin, and Leman all had a record of 2 wins and 1 loss in this competitive tournament.  This created a three-way tie for first place.  Leman ended up taking home the trophy due to the point-differential tie-breaker.  This was an extremely valuable experience for the team as they played their best volleyball of the season.
