The 8th grade boys basketball team earned its first victory of the season defeating the Leman Chargers 42-31. The Jayhawks were down 17-9 at the end of the 1st quarter, but stormed right back to tie the game at 22 at halftime.  From there the Jayhawks took the lead and never looked back. The Jayhawks are next in action tomorrow at home vs. Hadley.
