CCSD93 Seeks Candidates to Fill Two Board Vacancies

Board Vacancies

The Board of Education of Community Consolidated School District 93 will be filling two vacancies: one left by former Board member Rich Davis, who resigned effective March 26, 2021, and one left by former Board member Terry Svoboda, who did not seek reelection during the April election.

The Board is seeking interested, qualified citizens to fill the vacancy. In order to serve on the Board a person must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of Illinois and District 93 for at least one year, at least 18 years of age, and a registered voter. This is an unpaid volunteer position.

Applicants should submit a letter of interest, including a resume outlining personal and professional qualifications related to serving on the Board. Applicants should explain their reasons for wanting to serve on the Board.

Materials should be submitted by Friday, April 23, 2021 to:

The Board of Education
Community Consolidated School District 93
Suzanne Langhammer, Board Secretary

230 Covington Drive
Bloomingdale, Illinois 60108-3106

The Board of Education will then schedule interviews of prospective Board members. The term of office will expire in April 2023. If the individual named to fill the vacancy wishes to remain on the Board beyond April 2023, he/she will need to run for reelection on April 4, 2023.
