A Note to the Stratford Middle School Community Regarding Today's Hold in Place Schedule - 5/14/25

Dear Stratford Middle School Community,
The purpose of this letter is to keep you informed regarding a situation that occurred today at Stratford Middle School.
At approximately 12:18 p.m., a Hold in Place Schedule was called at Stratford Middle School to attend to a situation involving an individual in our building in need of assistance. This is part of CCSD93’s Crisis Plan. In a Hold in Place Schedule, students and staff members stay in their classrooms and continue learning until the given situation is resolved. The intent of a Hold in Place Schedule is to preserve the integrity and safety of the individual in need as well as the safety of the students and staff members in our building.
A call was placed to 9-1-1, and as a result, an ambulance arrived at Stratford Middle School. Students and staff responded appropriately to the Hold in Place Schedule by following directions. It ended at approximately 12:33 p.m. when the ambulance departed and our regular schedule was resumed.

El propósito de esta carta es mantenerlo informado sobre una situación que ocurrió hoy en Stratford Middle School.
Aproximadamente a las 12:18 p. m., se decretó un Horario de Suspensión en la Escuela Intermedia Stratford para atender una situación relacionada con una persona de nuestro edificio que necesitaba asistencia. Esto forma parte del Plan de Crisis del CCSD93. En un Horario de Suspensión, los estudiantes y el personal permanecen en sus aulas y continúan aprendiendo hasta que se resuelva la situación. El objetivo de este Horario es preservar la integridad y la seguridad de la persona que la necesita, así como la seguridad de los estudiantes y el personal de nuestro edificio.
Se llamó al 911 y, como resultado, llegó una ambulancia a la Escuela Intermedia Stratford. Los estudiantes y el personal respondieron adecuadamente al horario de suspensión, siguiendo las instrucciones. Este finalizó aproximadamente a las 12:33 p. m., cuando la ambulancia partió y se reanudó nuestro horario habitual.
