Dear Western Trails Elementary School Parents,

The purpose of this letter is to keep you informed regarding a situation that occurred at Western Trails today.

At approximately 10:55 a.m., a Hold in Place Schedule was called at Western Trails to attend to a situation involving an individual in our building in need of medical assistance. This is part of CCSD93’s Crisis Plan. In a Hold in Place Schedule, students and staff members stay in their classrooms and continue learning until the given situation is resolved. The intent of a Hold in Place Schedule is to preserve the integrity and safety of the individual in need as well as the safety of the other students and staff members in our building. 

A call was placed to 9-1-1, and as a result, an ambulance arrived at Western Trails. Students and staff responded appropriately to the Hold in Place Schedule by following directions. It ended at approximately 11:16 a.m. when the ambulance departed Western Trails.

Estimados padres de la escuela primaria Western Trails:

El propósito de esta carta es mantenerlo informado sobre una situación que ocurrió hoy en Western Trails.

Aproximadamente a las 10:55 am, se llamó a un horario de espera en Western Trails para atender una situación que involucraba a una persona en nuestro edificio que necesitaba asistencia médica. Esto es parte del Plan de Crisis del CCSD93. En un horario de permanencia en el lugar, los estudiantes y miembros del personal permanecen en sus aulas y continúan aprendiendo hasta que se resuelva la situación dada. La intención de un cronograma de permanencia en el lugar es preservar la integridad y seguridad del individuo necesitado, así como la seguridad de los demás estudiantes y miembros del personal en nuestro edificio.

Se realizó una llamada al 9-1-1 y, como resultado, llegó una ambulancia a Western Trails. Los estudiantes y el personal respondieron apropiadamente al cronograma de permanencia en el lugar siguiendo las instrucciones. Terminó aproximadamente a las 11:16 am cuando la ambulancia partió de Western Trails.

La seguridad de los estudiantes y miembros del personal es nuestra máxima prioridad, y agradezco a nuestros estudiantes y miembros del personal por su cooperación durante el horario de permanencia en el lugar de hoy.
