Kassandra Aponte, Assistant Principal
With great excitement and gratitude, I write this introduction as the new Assistant Principal of Cloverdale Elementary School. I am honored to have the opportunity to help lead a school with such persevering students, dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I look forward to beginning my journey at Cloverdale and supporting all students, staff, and families. I am coming to Cloverdale after being a special education resource teacher in Marquardt School District 15 for five years. I supported students with various disabilities in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. Each year, I sought new leadership opportunities within the district to gain the skills necessary to obtain an Assistant Principal position. I am eager to implement the skills I have learned and continue learning from leaders within CCSD93. As Assistant Principal, I plan to be supportive, compassionate, open-minded, and understanding while providing an equitable learning environment for all learners. I highly value the importance of relationship building. Establishing a positive rapport with all students, staff, and families and maintaining trustworthy relationships is critical, as I firmly believe this is essential to achieving success. As the school year starts, this will be a primary focus, as well as preserving a safe, warm, welcoming environment where all students feel a sense of belonging to grow and achieve their goals. I am committed to making a difference at Cloverdale, growing as a leader, and aiming to achieve the school’s mission and vision. I look forward to meeting you and participating in this beautiful community. Please know I am always here for you, ready to support and assist in any way I can.
