Heather Santiemmo, Principal
Heather Santiemmo has been in education since 2003. She was a special education and preschool at-risk classroom teacher in Cicero, IL, Principal at Roosevelt University's lab school for twelve years, and Assistant Principal of West Chicago’s Early Childhood Center for five years. She has served as an administrator at The Early Childhood Center in CCSD93 from 2021-2023. Heather is excited to continue her leadership at the Early Childhood Center as principal.
Heather has her Bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University in early childhood education, special education, and elementary education. She continued her education and received her Masters degree in general administration from Roosevelt University.
Heather resides in Bloomingdale with her husband, three children, and two dogs. She enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.
Heather believes all students that early childhood education is the foundation to each student's educational success. She is committed to working with families, staff, and the community to support the needs for all students. She values the importance of building positive relationships with staff, students, and parents and is looking forward to another wonderful year at The Early Childhood Center.
Stephanie Ripoli, Assistant Principal
Stephanie Ripoli has been in education since 2004, where she began her career in Elgin. She was a general education teacher at both the middle school and elementary levels before coming to CCSD93. She has served as the Early Childhood’s assistant principal since 2022.
Stephanie holds her Bachelor’s degree from Loras College and received her Masters in Educational Leadership from DePaul University.
Stephanie resides in Bloomingdale with her daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Stephanie is passionate about all students growing within their learning. She values the success of all students. Stephanie is excited for another great year!
