    Corinne McCabe, Principal

Corinne McCabe has been in education for seventeen years.  Throughout her career, she has taught multiple grade levels, supported teachers and students through her instructional coaching position, and served the students, families, and staff as Assistant Principal of Roy DeShane.  She is thrilled to be joining the Carol Stream family this Fall.

Corinne holds a Master of Educational Leadership from DePaul University, a Master of Science in Special Education-High Incidence from the University of Kansas, and is currently in the dissertation writing phase of a Doctor of Educational Technology degree from Central Michigan University.  She has also worked at the university level as an adjunct professor with both graduate and undergraduate students in the education field.

On a more personal note, Ms. McCabe resides in St. Charles and comes from a family of teachers.  She enjoys being active, running, and playing softball as much as she can.  You may even find her playing kickball or swinging on the playground with students at recess!

Ms. McCabe is passionate about the importance of education in our society and is devoted to the field.  She is looking forward to working with the staff, students, and families to ensure the success of all students at Carol Stream School.

    Ms. NosalikKylee Nosalik, Assistant Principal

Kylee Nosalik, and I will be serving as the Assistant Principal at Carol Stream Elementary School for my 3rd year. Before we begin our school year, I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself and share some information about my background.

I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from Illinois State University before pursuing my Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University. Prior to my current role, I served as Dean and Athletic Director at Geneva Middle School North. I previously taught as a Learning Behavior Specialist at Geneva Middle School South and Geneva High School, where I also served as the Special Education Department Chair for three years. Each of these chapters in my career has been an amazing experience and has driven me to support and inspire individuals around me.

On a personal level, I was born and raised in St. Charles. When I am not working, I enjoy spoiling my niece and nephew and spending time outdoors with my Labrador Retriever, Felix. My teaching roots also extend to my mother and two sisters, who all taught various grade levels throughout the western suburbs.

I am extremely excited to continue supporting Carol Stream Elementary School and this wonderful community. I am thrilled for the school year to begin and know that this school year will be filled with many successes and celebrations!
