• Coach Kern


    My name is Mr. Kern and I am a 7th grade science, accelerated science, and study skills teacher at Stratford Middle School.  As a student athlete in high school, I threw shot put and discus.  After starting at Stratford, I have coached both wrestling and the throwers for three years.  I am also an avid runner and will frequently be running in my spare time or competing in races on weekends. 

    I believe that everyone is capable of doing amazing things both academically and athletically and it is my goal to bring that out in my throwers during the track season.
